The Annual Brian Shah Classic is held for the benefit of Brian Shah who is currently undergoing treatment for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.
The Golf tournament is an annual event organized by friends and colleagues of Brian Shah. All proceeds of this tournament go directly to Brian and Ashley Shah to assist with the medical costs associated with ALS.
Brian was originally diagnosed with ALS in October, 2007. Brian is a graduate of USC and a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. He is originally from Florence, SC and Brian is a true inspiration to all around him.
